Keeping Documents Attached to the Work They Belong To

Most teams store files in one place and track work in another. Someone gets a signed contract, drops it in a folder named after the client, and hopes future teammates know where to look. Attachment columns keep files directly on the record they relate to.

1

Files on the Row, Not in a Folder Somewhere

An attachment column lets you upload one or more files directly to a record. The contract for a client lives on the client's row. The invoice for a project lives on the project's row. No separate folder structure to maintain, no broken links, no searching.

2

Works for Any File Type

Attachment columns handle documents, images, PDFs, spreadsheets, and other file types your team already uses. You can attach multiple files per record and view or download them directly from the table. This is especially useful for compliance-heavy workflows where audit evidence needs to stay with the relevant record.

3

Combine With Status for Approval Workflows

Pair an attachment column with a Status column and a record approval workflow to create a lightweight document approval process. Attach the file, submit for approval, and the record status updates when it's accepted. No separate document management tool required.
